Have you ever questions ?

We have listed here your most frequently asked questions about our products. If you Can not find the answer to your question? Do not hesitate to contact us, we will answer you with pleasure.

How do you guarantee the quality and safety of your products ?

It all begins the moment the product is first developed, long before it hits the market. We take the time to carefully research our designs and choose the safest materials for our products. Further, our products undergo several quality control tests before they get into your children's hands. Depending on the product, a laboratory of experts carries out additional tests to make sure it conforms to European regulations. In order to ensure consistent quality and safety, every shipment of our products is thoroughly tested.

Here at LUDI, your child's safety is our #1 priority !

What is this "CE" marking ?

The mandatory CE marking is used on any of our products that are classified as "toys". It means that the product in question conforms to European regulations.

What does "conforms to safety requirements" mean ?

This mandatory statement must be affixed to products classified as "childcare articles". It declares that these products have met European safety regulations.

How can I take care of my LUDI products ?

Foam-based products are machine washable (cold). A bathtub would do the job nicely, as well !
The mattresses in our bedding products (portable beds, pop-up cradles, portable tents, etc.) are machine washable. All of our polyester, PVC, and plastic products can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
The calendars can be dry-cleaned.

My "foam puzzle mat" smells...

This unpleasant (but not harmful) odour is sometimes noticed when the product is opened. Simply allow it to air out for 24 hours and/or wash it before use.

What's formamide ?

Formamide is a chemical that can be used as a softening agent and deodoriser in numerous plastic products, foam mats in particular. Increasingly well-known by the general public, it became regulated for use in foam "puzzle mats" in 2011. ALL LUDI products containing formamide conform to the regulations in force.

What are phthalates ?

Phthalates are regulated chemicals that can be found in plastic materials. They are used to make plastics more flexible. ALL our products containing phthalates conform to the regulations in force.

What's bisphenol A ?

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a regulated chemical that can be found in resins and plastics used for dummies and baby bottles. Our products are BPA-free.

One foam mat is nice, two is even better, but are they all compatible ?

No, because we've developed two distinct LUDI Foam Mat product lines.
- Basics: ref. 1050/1051/1052/1053/1054 All compatible with themselves.
- Standards: ref. 10004/10005/1006/10006/ All compatible with themselves.
With the exception of the playpen carpets Ref. 1015 / 10003 / 10002 / 10001, which are only compatible with each other.

I'm missing a piece from my calendar, what can I do ?

It's quite simple, all you have to do is contact us via the contact page of our website, specifying the subject of your question. We'll respond in under 48 hours (service with a smile, we promise!). For any other enquiries, please return to the shop where you purchased your product.

What do the ages printed LUDI products mean ?

The ages printed on our packages are meant for use as sales aides, but they are not hard and fast rules. They are intended to help you decide which product to choose for your child. However, please be aware that if this logo appears on the package PICTO INTERDIT MOINS 3 ANS this means that the product could be dangerous for children under 36 months.

Your products are great, where can I find them ?

LUDI products are available in toy shops and shops carrying child care products all over mainland France, in the French Overseas Departments and Territories, and through our international distributors. For more information, have a look at the list of our sales locations.

I can't seem to refold one of your products, how do you do it ?

Ah yes, that can happen… especially with our pop-up products that sometimes require a helping hand. That's why we've made a collection of videos that demonstrate the proper ways to fold these products.

I have a blog and I'd like to form a partnership with you, how should I go about doing that ?

Wow, nice of you to think of us! First off, you can contact us, making sure to mention your blog's address, as well as the various links leading to your Facebook/Google+/Twitter/Pinterest, etc. accounts. We'll have a look and get back to you in under 48 hours.
